Former U.S. Air Force Officer and pilot with seven combat deployments, Tom leads UHG with a mission-first mindset and disciplined execution. He brings global operational experience and a proven ability to integrate teams and deliver in complex environments. Trent Edwards
Trent H. Edwards is the President and CEO of T.H. Edwards Consulting LLC, serving as a strategic advisor helping companies at all stages of development grow, scale, and align their capabilities to defense strategic priorities and future operational needs. He has first-hand experience building public-private partnerships across industry, academia, military, and state, local, and federal agencies, helping organizations secure more than 20 million dollars in funding. He is a Governor-appointed Commissioner with the Alabama Job Creation and Military Stability Commission and a volunteer board member for Navy Federal Credit Union and other boards spanning healthcare, construction, technology, and academia. As a Limited Partner with The Veteran Fund, a venture capital firm, he advises veteran portfolio companies with valuations exceeding one billion dollars.
Trent is a retired United States Air Force Brigadier General who served in enterprise-wide and regional Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer positions. He was the Air Force CFO for an 80 billion dollar budget portfolio covering daily operating expenses, military and civilian payroll, facilities, infrastructure, space and cyber, and a working capital fund for a 325,000-person workforce at 79 locations worldwide. He also served as CFO and lead programmer for Air Force Space Command, planning and aligning its 10 billion dollar budget with future Space Force strategies.
Trent has extensive Congressional experience, having served as Chief of Congressional Affairs for the Air Force, developing engagement strategy for Authorization and Appropriation committees and Air Force Caucus members. As a Congressional Fellow, he facilitated trade, economic development, and aid policies between the United States and African nations. He has commanded Air Force installations and wings at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama and Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from North Carolina A&T State University, a Master of Science in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and a Master of Science in National Security Studies from Air University. He has completed coursework at Georgetown University, the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Scott Kindsvater
Scott Kindsvater is the president of Kindsvater and Associates, LLC where he serves as a strategic advisor, Corporate Advisory Board Member on several diverse corporations, a think tank fellow and motivational speaker. A senior global operations and intelligence leader, F-15E fighter pilot with 10 combat deployments and former General Officer in the United States Air Force for 32 years with the last 25 years in executive leadership positions and senior consulting. He has vast experience in a broad international arena, specifically Central and Southwest Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe.
Lieutenant General Kindsvater commanded a United States Air Force Fighter Squadron, the Air Force Top Gun School, two Air Force Wings, and a Numbered Air Force Task Force. He served on multiple strategic military staffs, Congressional staffs, and interagency teams. He directed operations and intelligence in Iraq and Syria against ISIS, led operations and intelligence for the entire NATO Alliance, and served as Deputy Chairman of the NATO Military Committee in Brussels, Belgium and Advisor to the Secretary General. He is a graduate of the Air Force Academy and the Army War College, and a Distinguished Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis. Scott and his wife Lisa grew up in Dodge City, Kansas and reside in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. They have two daughters.

Stephen Twitty
Stephen "Steph" Twitty is President of Twitty and Associates LLC, a consultancy specializing in strategic and operational planning for clients across the government, corporate, academic, and nonprofit sectors. He serves as a board director at Karman Space and Defense, Palladyne AI, Weibel Scientific, and Meroxa, Inc., and previously served as board director and chairman at Nusura, Inc. He is a board advisor at Moog, Accelint, Dataminr, HDT-Global, and Raft Inc., and a senior advisor at the Chertoff Group and Ernst and Young.
Lieutenant General Twitty retired from the United States Army after 40 years of distinguished service as an infantry officer. He commanded units at nearly every echelon and served in five combat tours across Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait. In his final military assignment, he served as Deputy Commander of United States European Command in Stuttgart, Germany.
Steph holds a master's degree in administration from Central Michigan University, a master's degree in national security strategy from the National Defense University, and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from South Carolina State University. He is a Distinguished Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He has received numerous military honors, most notably the Silver Star Medal, the nation's third highest award for valor, for gallantry in combat in Iraq. South Carolina State University has enshrined him as a Distinguished Alumnus, and both a state highway and an American Legion building in his hometown of Chesnee, South Carolina bear his name.

Kevin Vereen
Kevin Vereen is a people-focused, results-oriented retired Army General Officer with a genuine commitment to identifying and developing leadership potential. Throughout his 36 years of military service, he led organizations through challenging and complex conditions, building a wealth of experience in Army leadership, policing, and infrastructure. He served as both Commandant of the Military Police Corps Regiment and Provost Marshal General of the United States Army, retiring in 2024 in the rank of Lieutenant General.
In his most recent military assignment, Kevin oversaw a 20 billion dollar annual budget and led more than 300 employees responsible for implementing policy and providing funding and resources for military installations around the world. He directed the Army's full infrastructure portfolio, spanning barracks construction, new facility development, remodeling, and demolition across all Army installations in coordination with Garrison and Senior Mission Commanders.
Kevin currently provides consulting services to agencies in law enforcement, physical security, and force protection. He is a 2024 graduate of the National Association of Corporate Directors' Battlefield to Boardroom program and has delivered leadership seminars to policing organizations across the country, including state highway patrol agencies and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He serves on various boards and is a member of the North Carolina Military Affairs Commission, focused on improving the lives of military veterans and their families across the state.
Kevin and his wife Monica recently founded The RealTeam Vereen, LLC, focused on executive leadership development, physical and personal security consulting, policing and corrections guidance, and multimedia and communications strategy.
